This is a very unique software tool built in Google Sheets that semi-automates and automates repetitive and error prone email tasks as well as bulk email processes.

It enables you to use Gmail "drafts" as templates for new email(s) without any cut / copy and paste actions while leaving the draft in place for future template use. You can create and process one or multiple copies of a single email template simultaneously. It also provides a utility to quickly convert a previously sent or received email to a draft for a one time or multi-use template as well.

You use an existing email "draft" as a template for one or multiple emails.
You send the new email(s) directly to the individual recipient(s) without ever touching your Gmail OR You can have the new email(s) placed in your drafts folder for your review and customization prior to sending manually.
It properly duplicates html body content, inline images, links, google drive embedded links, and attachments.
This eliminates the problems with forwarding prior emails and remembering to remove the forwarding marks.
This eliminates the Copy/Paste/Attach routines when creating or recreating repetitive emails.
This provides an alternative solution for BCC functionality. Email lists are broken down, and emails are processed one at a time, making each email look like it was individually sent.
This provides you with an opportunity to "over create" email templates with more information than any single recipient needs, giving you the ability to remove irrelevant content quickly prior to sending proper and accurate information to recipient(s).
This provides you with an opportunity to re-think an important, time consuming, and error prone portion of your email work flow entirely, and it provides you with an opportunity to create a new work flow that is a better fit for you.

Functionally and commercially, it fulfills privacy, education and economic needs like no prior solution.

It's a "downloadable software template", not downloadable software nor subscription based.
It's private. There are no ties back to us after you've made a copy for yourself.

It eliminates the clicking around required to forward an existing email, while removing all the data that says it was a forward.
It eliminates the clicking around required to duplicate content from one email to another, especially those with attachments.
It provides an impetus to rethink less functional routines.

Whenever one has to click repeatedly doing routine computing tasks, errors and omissions often transpire, no matter your level of experience.

Any "flow" that can be generated is often short lived when you realize you miss clicked something or sent out information that was incomplete or unprofessional.
This software tool provides an opportunity to change your work flow to fix all those potential problems before they happen. For those who dislike the feel of "Bcc", this provides a workaround for that, too.

The "Email Templates List" Worksheet

The first screen you need to familiarize yourself with is the Email Templates List Worksheet.

Click the "Refresh" button to create list list programmatically. You do not enter anything into this worksheet manually.

It is created from files you have in your Gmail system which you've marked with an "Email Templates" Label that you created to get going.
The emails you mark with your Email Templates label can be drafts you've created OR sent or received emails. The drafts can be modified between use. The Sent and Received emails can only be sent as is, but they can be converted to drafts for customization with another tool we offer in this worksheet too. Details on that below
Refresh the list anytime you add or remove labels to drafts or emails to keep this list up to date. It does NOT have automatic refresh functionality.

The "Create Email from Template" Worksheet

This is where the magic happens.

1) Select the Template from the drop down list created from the email template list

2) Select an Action - Create email(s) and send to Drafts for review and customization prior to manually sending OR Create emails and Send to Recipient(s) when you click Go, with no manual contact with Gmail.

3) Enter relevant email address(es). Separate multiple addresses with commas and they will each get separate emails. You do NOT need to enter any email address(es) if you are sending to drafts. you can address those there. If you want to create multiple drafts with no email addresses, just enter commas with nothing in between. It will treat the blank data around the commas as blank email addresses. 1 comma will get you two draft copies, two commas will get you three, etc.

When you hit "Go", popup messages will tell you the script is processing. When done, you'll be provided with a popup window with details.

Items sent to your Drafts are found in your Drafts folder.

Address and Customize them as needed and then manually send them

Items sent out to recipients directly are found in your sent items folder.

Then you apply the "email template" label manually

- - Then you edit it as you please and leave it as a draft for future template needs.
  - We would apply the "Email Templates" label identifying it as a future template automatically, but Google does not programmatically support that yet, due to our use scenario that they had not thought of yet
  - Getting the threadID now requires a small "bookmarklet", because google has obfuscated that ID on their new user interface. It's all explained in our technical docs and it's easy and educational too.

The number of copies of a template you create with the click of a button is unlimited. We set programmatic limits on the number you can create initially, to protect you in the beginning, but you can change that easily as soon as y ou learn how to open the script editor and locate the configuration setting. For drafts you don't have to specify the recipient prior to creating them. This can make sense in many low to mid volume applications.

This software utility is built in Google Sheets, with programmatic integration to Gmail using Google Script that is self contained in the same file. It fills a LOT of middle of the road communication needs for commercially oriented individuals and small businesses.

There is nothing else like it at this time, and it's available for download for free anonymously giving you a private tool for life.
